I grew up immersed in design and art, managing my mom’s luxury boutique and sourcing interesting pieces. With experience serving a global clientele in India, I’m now based in Austin, looking for opportunities that allow me to curate, design, and celebrate craftsmanship.

Samesisters is all about creating elevated, one-of-a-kind designs that celebrate craftsmanship and culture. From managing a brick-and-mortar store to collaborating with artisans, jewelers, and sourcing rare handwoven textiles, the brand is an extension of my artistic expression.
Roja was my answer to the saturated market of bright, heavily embellished Indian occasion wear. I designed subtle, minimalist pieces featuring embossed rose motifs that were elegant and perfect for those who prefer simplicity over extravagance. Collaborated with high-end jewelry brands.
Oversaw every step from initial design to material sourcing and final production. Developed a unique embossed quilting technique.
Designing for celebrities like Sanya Malhotra, Guneet Monga (oscar winning director of The Elephant Whisperers), and Kusha Kapila (fashion reality TV judge) helped elevate my brand and visibility. Each project required me to capture their individual styles for high-profile events.
Coordinated with stylists and installation artists, from designs, fittings, and final adjustments, ensuring timely delivery under high-pressure deadlines.
Inspired by the rise of athleisure and vintage saris, I created a collection that blended these two worlds. Each piece was one-of-a-kind, combining the beauty of traditional silk saris with a modern, casual aesthetic.
Led the design process from sourcing vintage fabrics to creating unique designs, ensuring each piece aligned with evolving market trends.
I wanted to modernize the traditional salwar kameez for my generation by breaking it down into versatile pieces that can be worn separately. This collection gave me the chance to explore fresh concepts and make something that felt new and exciting, keeping tradition alive in a modern way.
Managed the entire process from concept to production, curating fabrics, overseeing embroidery, and ensuring each piece met my vision.
For both a regional film and a play, I dove into the characters’ worlds, using my understanding of fabrics and local culture to build wardrobes that added depth to the storytelling. Every piece was designed to feel authentic and reflective of the characters' lives.
Worked directly with the director and actors, sourced fabrics and accessories, and conducted fittings to ensure the designs fit the narrative and characters.
This collection is a thread to the past. I've always been drawn to vintage styles of old, and I wanted to incorporate those looks into something refreshing for the modern era, for the experimenters and the bold ones.
